Exceptional Care Medical Group (ECMG) is a network of doctors, specialists and hospitals that provide your medical care services. When you join a health plan (a Health Maintenance Organization), you must pick a medical group and a primary care physician who belongs to that medical group. ECMG works with your physician and health plans to coordinate your care. ECMG accepts many HMO plans. If you want to see an Exceptional Care physician, do the following:
Call your health plan. You can find the phone number on the back of your health plan member ID card.
Ask if the health plan’s network choices include Exceptional Care in its network and let them know you want to switch to Exceptional Care Medical Group.
Choose from hundreds of primary care physicians in ECMG’s network.
